OTOH. I am really impressed by the “conspiracy of climatologists” concept. There is a boldness and audacity to it that one can’t help but admire. It ranks right up there with the flat and hollow earth theories, the moon landing hoax, or the “9/11 was an inside job masterminded by GWB” insights. Lets face it, evil plots to take away our freedom and money hatched by the Illuminati, Bilderbergs, Commies and the UN are old hat, but a unconscious, self-organizing conspiracy arising from the academic bureaucracy and with reinforcing ties to governments (domestic and foreign) is quite unprecedented. After all, its a wonder those pointy-headed kollege perfessors can even park their bicycles straight when they get to the campus.

You see, the standard of excellence of a conspiracy theory is not how well it explains the facts, but how inevitably and intricately it dovetails with other, pre-existing conspiracy theories. The climatologist’s cabal is the perfect avatar of the integrated, holistic, interconnected fabric of villainy which permeates and rules the cosmos. The idea that it might be unconscious and unplanned, and arose spontaneously from the substrate, the matrix of reality itself, is all the more wonderful.

According to preliminary readings from NASA, May 2016 was the warmest such month on record for the planet, dating back to 1880. Global average surface temperatures were 0.93 degrees Celsius, or 1.67 degrees Fahrenheit, above average for the month, beating out the old record, which was set in May 2014.

This makes May the 8th straight warmest month on record in NASA’s database. According to the World Meteorological Organization, it was also the warmest northern hemisphere spring on record, in part due to much milder than average conditions in the Arctic.

If the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) also ranks May as the warmest such month, it would make it the 13th straight warmest month in NOAA’s records, which has never happened before. (Although the two agencies use similar data, they differ in how they analyze global temperature measurements.)

Anyone STILL want to claim its all a conspiracy of climatologists?
