I was first introduced to Pearls Before Swine (Rapp’s band) by my friend Roger, who had been turned on to PBS while in college in New Jersey. Now I’ve learned Rapp was a Florida boy, about my age, and he became a lawyer after getting out of the music biz. I have since learned Rapp was a county attorney in Charlotte County, Florida, where I worked in the GIS department.

Rapp and I may have worked in the same building at the same time, blissfully unaware of each other’s presence.

If you try to make sense of this sort of thing, it can drive you crazy.
