Perhaps its no coincidence that Arthur Miller&#039;s play, &quot;The Crucible&quot;, was recently revived on Broadway.  (Right, &quot;Hamilton&quot; isn&#039;t the only patriotic extravaganza going on in the NY stage.)  The play is about the Salem witch trials, and although set in colonial New England, was written about the McCarthy Red Scare in the 1950s.
