Neo-Nazi Website Daily Stormer Praises Trump For “Dog-Whistling” And Exposing “Filthy Jew Terrorists.” The Daily Stormer is a neo-Nazi website that has endorsed Trump for president and organizes anti-Semitic online attacks. Publisher Andrew Anglin praised Trump for “dog-whistling” and promoting the purported fact that “the majority of Hilary’s [sic] donors are filthy Jew terrorists”:

This is, yet again, dog-whistling by The Leader. It comes just after he made some offensive comments about Israel being our friend – he says this for the evangelicals, then he signals to us – his real supporters – that we need not worry, he is just shilling a bit to get into power at which point he will shut down the entire Jew agenda.

He was more pointed in response to a questioner who told Trump he’s “opposed to wasting our military in the Middle East on behalf of Zionist Israel.”
Trump told the man: “Israel is a very, very important ally of the United States and we are going to protect them 100% — 100%. It’s our true friend over there.”

But he realized that after that he needed to make nice with the neo-nazis that support him… so he tweeted this:

Not exactly subtle…. a loud enough dog whistle that even the illiterate neo-nazis could hear it…

Well, real capitalists can at least point to genuine personal and social achievements to justify their claims, but for those who cannot make it in the very society they themselves prefer and define as natural and inevitable, then there MUST be a cabal of evildoers who toil maliciously and continuously to keep them down and take what is rightfully theirs. For the righteously disappointed, conspiracy is the only possible valid explanation for their personal shortcomings, or for the indifference of a random and chaotic universe.

Do I exaggerate? Of course, nothing in the social sciences is that cut-and-dried, and there are always exceptions to every rule and other factors and forces at play. But if you need a rule of thumb to help explain political and social divisions, a starting point, then there it is.

The followers of Trump are those who want to be Daddy Warbucks, but can’t, because they are too stupid or too unlucky, or perhaps because they have been out-competed (or even victimized!) by the very people they admire and wish to emulate, and they are too ashamed to admit it to themselves. As for those who still support Trump even though they don’t trust him or his program…well, they are the worst of all. Unlike the ignorant and uneducated, they should know better, but they see his lies as their best hope of furthering their own interests. They not only can be blamed for following Trump, they must also accept the blame for creating him.

They are like those Liberals and Leftists who supported Lenin and Stalin and Mao and Castro long after the evidence was in that these dictators were brutal tyrants running gangster states. Yes, this human error is not limited to one ideology or another. It is just that today it seems to be most noticeable, most troublesome, and most toxic on the Right.

And from his more sophisticated supporters, at times like this, we get silence: tacit approval of ignorance and hate? Acceptance of the fact that Trump will need the “hate vote?” Simple cowardice? Or all of the above?

Unquestioning support of Israeli policy is now part of the Conservative canon, as I mentioned before, Conservative evangelicals see Israel as an essential part of their Revelations end-of-times mythos. Any criticism of Israeli policy in Palestine is immediately attacked as Liberal heresy. The shift from Jew-baiting to anti-Arab, anti-Muslim fervor is a necessary adjustment to coincide with modern political alignments. It has been seamless and sudden, but not too surprising.

Remember, Ishmael, the father of the Arab peoples, was also one of the sons of Abraham.
