DARN, I said, I've got to go back and do more editing. And then I re-read it. Decided I had said all I wanted to say, more than would be read and much more than anyone would take seriously. So I just left it. I have noticed, though, that if I don't return a phone call promptly I get a visit from friends. They only want to see if any part of me can stand or sit upright. I think they want to get an invitation to the party I'm financing after I pass on, free food and an open bar because so many of them do drink. I wish I could be there, it should be interesting.
