Those people can work themselves up into anything. They are immune to facts and reason, they seem enamored with hate and believe themselves to be incredibly bright martyrs. They remind me of Muslim suicide bombers without the guts.

Yeah, there’s been a couple of those, lately.

If Trump is elected, he will start a massive infrastructure program to create jobs and make it easier for industry to move their products. You know, the same program Obama tried to get past Congress. He will also start a massive arms build-up, for the same reason. He’ll pay for it with a flat income tax and perhaps a national sales tax, while cutting down on capital gains, corporate and inheritance taxes.

For the first few years, the economy will boom, corporate profits will soar, and then…the deluge.

Just look how detached he is from the facts and the science- can you really think for a second he wouldn’t gut NASA?

In Collins’ prepared speech, she was supposed to endorse Trump- she skipped that in the actual speech…

She spoke eloquently for the space program, and I feel she sincerely felt that her Party would do a better job at pursuing space exploration than the Democrats. She might even be right. And she did so without getting any cheap shots (or easy applause) at Obama or Clinton’s expense. She was a definitely a class act, the way most Republicans used to be.

Your metaphor will stay with me for a long time. Thanks for that.
