The GOP nominee was discussing the US trade imbalance with China when he stopped for the loud little one.
“Don’t worry about that baby, I love babies,” a grinning Trump said. “I love babies. I hear that baby crying, I like it, I like it. What a baby. What a beautiful baby.”
Trump assured the tot’s mom that all was well.
“Don’t worry, don’t worry,” he said. “The mom’s running around, don’t worry about it. It’s a young and beautiful and healthy and that’s what we want.”
Trump went on with his speech. But then a short while later, with more crying, Trump decided to tell the tot: You’re fired.
“Actually I was only kidding, you can get the baby outta here,” Trump said, drawing laughs and groans.
“That’s all right, don’t worry. I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking.”
I am sure some will say the Baby had it coming….
