The House is in play, and here’s why:
The republican party is disintegrating before our eyes. Trump is lashing out at Ryan as much as Clinton. GOP politicians in who stick with him are going to own his plummeting poll numbers. Only the safest of districts will be truly safe. GOP politicians who abandon Trump will face the rage of the Trump voters. GOP voters who are disgusted with Trump will be less likely to vote. GOP voters who support Trump will be far less inclined to vote for the GOP down ticket. This is a no win situation for the GOP.
Meanwhile, the dam is breaking on the groping allegations today. Four, as I make this post and Trump is now officially a predator. The bottom looks like it’s dropping out for Trump’s poll numbers. He and his team are becoming more and more unhinged and are lashing out at the dirt coming out on him. Three more weeks of pounding like this and who knows how low his numbers will go?
Analysts have said if Hillary gets in the double digit figures on her lead, and if she beats him in places like Georgia and Arizona, the House is in play.
This could be epic.
