The Conservative program, by their own admission, is about lower corporate and capital gains taxes, less government regulation, and a roll-back of the welfare state and especially its most expensive programs: middle class entitlements like Social Security and Medicare. No one really expects industrial jobs to come back to this country, and American business wants them to stay overseas where labor is cheap. The last thing Capital wants is a trade war with China they can’t win.

And a Wall will not be good for business. American service and construction industries have become addicted to “illegals”, they work hard as hell and cause no trouble for their bosses. Trump is threatening to cut off that flow of cheap, docile labor. The key to maintaining and increasing profits is to keep unemployment high, so people will be willing to work for next to nothing, in miserable conditions, and without benefits or health and safety or job protections.

Trump simply cannot deliver. He’s even gone on record as being against some of these policies. Even his replacement for Obamacare sounds like it will keep much of its more popular features. The whole point of ‘keeping the government out of health care’ is to keep people terrified of losing their jobs.

Nope, he’s got to go. And I think Pence will step right into his place, the right man for the job. Look for an impeachment bid, from the Right, in the near future, disguised as a national security issue.

And the Democrats, drooling slack-jawed cretins that they are, will jump on the bandwagon thinking it was all their idea from the start.
