The “activist court who wants to “make the law, not interpret it” has always been a right-wing bogeyman, especially when courts had the audacity to rule that blacks had the right to vote, go to school, buy a house and eat at restaurants, just like REAL ‘Murricans.

Abortions, birth control, guns, Creationism in the public schools, union busting…I could go on. Trump’s insult of the courts and judges when they don’t rule his way is perfectly predictable. But they no longer try to cloak it bogus constitutiunal or states rights, or separation of powers issues. Now they’re just “so-called” judges.

This President needs the redneck vote in order to survive, and whether he may personally believe in their barbarisms or not, he will continue to give them whatever they want. He has no choice. What remains to be seen is how many other Republicans will prostitute their own principles just so they can get another tax cut.
