I miss Cable. February 14, 2017 4:41 pm hank

I listen to a lot of NPR now.

I get my TV news now from PBS and BBC, and it is really a hoot.
Especially those sober and uprighteous BBC anchors trying to cover the Trump administration with a straight face–stiff upper lip, and all that.

I can only imagine what Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow are doing with all of this truly wonderful material.

Network TV is mostly ideology free, but it spends way too much time covering the feelgood news people want to hear, lots of uplifting stories and inspirational, heartwarming stuff. You know, vets coping with horrible battlefield injuries, ghetto thugs learning how to code, and innovative programs combating opiod addiction in the ‘burbs.
