What else is new?

I don't need the details of this raid to tell me that.

The fact that the raid ran into trouble, and they had to shoot their way out, and innocent people got killed as a result, is just the fortunes of war. It is no big deal.

What it does tell us is that Trump will not take responsibility for anything that screws up on his watch, he will blame others, and that he will take credit for anything that goes right, even if he had nothing to do with it. Nothing he says about anything can be trusted. Now THAT is a very big deal. And all the attention being paid to by the press about the "failures" of the action, which are perfectly normal and to be expected in the middle of a firefight, are only distracting us from that.

The raid would have probably turned out the same way if it had happened on Obama's or Clinton's watch. But they would have taken the rap for it.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4254284/Mystery-Trump-s-deleted-tweet-Yemen-raid.html

Trump wasn't in the situation room for the raid- instead he was tweeting about a TV appearance.

The administration's first reaction to the botched raid was to lie and blame it on Obama... they still are trying to minimize Trump's responsibility.

Trump then goes on to blame the military for the loss- The buck stops as far from Trump as possible.

And an 8 year old girl is dead... American, if that matters...
