I came across that news earlier and checked it out. It was instantly familiar–remember the old NASA Technology Transfer program, and the printed catalog they’d put out periodically?

I wonder if somebody at NASA is making sure the software is released into the wild before “somebody” changes the Space Act of 1958 to remove the part about everything NASA produces being in the public domain?
