<description>By instituting free market principles, competition will force an efficiency that will lower prices. In addition, the drastic lowering of taxes (not just those that subsidize medical programs, but all social welfare programs) will lead to an immediate leap in investment by business which will inevitably generate more and better paying jobs and more people will have money to purchase their own insurance and medical services in a market place where competition will continuously cut prices to the bone and drive salaries through the roof. They will be able to afford as much insurance as they want.

There may be a temporary bit of dislocation while the market adjusts to the new regime, and those who have relied too much on the charity of others to support their medical needs start budgeting for private insurance and frankly, start taking better care of themselves. Too many people are sick because they don&#039;t get enough exercise, eat junk food, and abuse their bodies with drugs and vice, which they always seem to have plenty of money for. Too many of us have forgotten the virtues of discipline and self-restraint and its about time they were taught a lesson.

As this new consciousness of self-reliance and personal responsibility spreads to other social areas, people will come to realize that all they have to do is work harder and those things they need will materialize as a result of their own efforts. Many will turn to entrepreneurial pursuits, which will create more business activity, more jobs and more wealth. The productivity and efficiency liberated by this realization will turn America into the worker&#039;s paradise it once was, a century ago when these principles guided society and the freeloader state was just a gleam in the eyes of Socialist looters and union thugs.

Any minor adjustments that may need to be made to ease the transition will easily be handled by charity. Americans have always been a generous people.
