		<description>I don&#039;t like filibusters and I don&#039;t like the 60 vote rule, even when it might benefit my side.  A majority is a majority.  They&#039;ve got a majority, they should be entitled to use it.

I despise the crap the GOP pulled to keep Obama from at least nominating his man, and giving him a hearing.  They could always have shot him down, they would have been within their rights (and they would have taken the political heat for it), but at least it would have been honest. And I think anything the Dems do to make the GOP and their choice squirm a bit is fine. But I think the filibuster is strictly a parliamentary gimmick that should be abolished. I hope it is nuked.  Forever.  

Besides, you know its only a matter of time before the Republicans will lose that majority and will be desperate to cram the nu-cu-lar genie back in the bottle.
