Nature article claims evidence of human activity in North America 131,000 years ago April 26, 2017 8:43 pm RL

I am finding this a bit hard to believe… for many reasons…

That is 100,000 years earlier than we had evidence of before.

 

I am not able to put up a link at this moment but the evidence is a disarticulated mammoth dated to 131,000 years ago, with supposed tool marks, and supposed stone tools found around it.

 

IF humans had been here that long, one would think there would be lots more evidence already found…?
