Anu's new blade May 6, 2017 8:55 am Robert

In Birmingham England, a little seven year-old girl named Anu had had her right leg amputated at birth, because the umbilical cord had wrapped around it and choked off circulation.

The British NHS equipped Ana with a blade prosthetic, the kind you’ve seen on runners like Oscar Pretorius (sp?) use. And the BBC has video of Anu’s first day back at school, when she shows off her new prosthetic to her classmates.

The video’s not easily embeddable, but you can go watch it at the BBC.

Be sure to have a hanky ready.
