His supporters will, no doubt, point to it either as his ability to learn and adapt on the job, or as shrewd tactical bluffs on the world stage to get what he wants without actually risking anything. But how long will it be before foreign powers pick up on the fact he is a weak and ignorant man only kept in power by the deluded victims of a corrupt and decadent political ideology, and start manipulating him for their benefit? I think Mr Putin figured that out a long time ago. The Chinese leadership learned it a few days ago.
