He called it "Surf's Up". You may recall, in one of the Star Wars films there is an <em>homage </em>to this painting. A scene very similar to this one is shown (On a balcony in the Queen's royal palace) where she and Anakin Skywalker are talking, looking out at that incredible landscape. Parrish is one of my favorite painters (along with Maurits Escher and Alphonse Mucha). He once said "Only God can make a tree, but only Man can paint one."
