…that President Trump made a long and detailed policy speech to assembled Middle Eastern Islamic Leaders without even once mentioning the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism”? As I recall, Republican mouthpieces (and later during the campaign, Trump and his supporters), repeatedly vilified President Obama for refusing to use that precise term. Trump, in particular, insisted that failure to utter those words was evidence that Obama should have immediately resigned.

It should be pointed out that Mr Obama’s predecessor, President Bush, (to his credit, and for the same very good reasons) never used that precise phraseology either.
