We have no business telling people how to dress, and they have no business telling us the same. The bow is just good manners.

As for the contradiction, I'm not surprised. The whole Conservative program was based on hatred of Obama and Clinton. There wasn't much in the way of original policy there, except cutting taxes, abortion and regulation.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/20/politics/roger-stone-saudi-arabia-tweets/index.html

As President Donald Trump celebrated what he called a "tremendous" first day in Saudi Arabia, his onetime campaign adviser and longtime confidante Roger Stone expressed nothing but aversion for the Gulf nation and parts of the President's trip.
In a litany of tweets, Stone berated Saudi Arabia as "the enemy" and slammed Trump for accepting the Order of Abdulaziz from King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
"Candidly this makes me want to puke," he wrote.

Trump slammed Michelle Obama for offending the Saudis by not wearing a headscarf when the Obamas went there, and on this visit Melania and Ivanka both went without a headscarf.

He slammed Obama for 'bowing' to the king, and then bows to the king himself...
