Of course I know of Kraftwerke. I saw "Kraut rock revival" in the sidebar over on CE, and Kraftwerke immediately came to mind.

I was amazed by Autobahn when it came out, but then lost track of Kraftwerke for a few decades. Bought the 2009 remaster, and was blown away all over again. The album avoided the beeps and bleeps of sounding like a video game...I think it was the rich tones. Pure sine waves. A lot of the early "electronic music" was harsh, and I couldn't listen for long; but not Kraftwerke.

I'm listening to Computer World now. It's familiar; no doubt I heard at least some of it in the past. Thanks for turning me on to it, man.
