Them:”You can’t criticize OUR excesses! YOUR candidate sold children for sex out of a pizza parlor!”
Us: “Wait… what?!”
Them: “Its true, I read it on the internets- just look at the google!”
Us: “Wait, you actually believe THAT??!!”
Them: “Of course! Thats why we go to these hateful extremes!”
US: “But… That is so obviously bullshit that a lunatic made up!”
Them: “No it isnt!”
Us: “YES, it is!”
Them: “No it isnt!”
Us: “YES, it is!”

….and so on… they win because the discussion topic has been changed from their real and documented sins, to the fictional insane stories they invented about the left.
