You teach a working class kid a little economics, history, psychology, humanities and sociology, and he becomes immune to your bullshit. And when those kids grow up and become college professors themselves, they bring up the next generation right. The WWII GI Bill made the 1960s possible. The Vietnam GI Bill made the 1960s inevitable.

That’s why it’s harder for working class kids to get a college education today, and when they do get it, it’s likely to be substandard, and they’ll spend the rest of their life paying for it. That’s no accident, its deliberate planning. Education no longer seeks to produce a better person, or citizen; it exists only to provide skills needed by business–or to delude the rubes their bogus degree will actually help them get a job.

Toxic, at least, to a rational and intelligent America, one capable of leading in the 21st century. They've turned the country's decline into a free-fall.
