Actor Martin Landau has passed away.
Landau played a lot of roles and worked with Hollywood greats like Hitchcock, but I’ll always remember him as Commander Koenig of Moonbase Alpha in Space:1999. I was terribly disappointed in the show when it first aired, but did a binge-watch retrospective about 5 years ago and actually really enjoyed it. If you watch it knowing it’s a fantasy show that just happens to take place in space, it’s more fun.
