These people are whores, I'm sure they'll go Bolshevik if they think they can boost their advertising revenue and ratings that way.

Chuck Todd is the guy who stoutly maintained that it's not his job to fact-check Republicans. No doubt Trump's Precision Lying Corps considers MTP the easiest gig on a Sunday morning.

I never in a million years thought I'd say it, but have you watched Chris Wallace lately? He's the one currently asking the tough questions. He's not as far down the road to redemption as Shep Smith, but cracks are appearing in the Fox News propaganda machine's wall of adamantine case-hardened bullshit. Some of the toughest questions...gaaaaaahhhh!!! Head exploded!...are being asked on Fox News.

Only Nixon could go to China, and quite possibly only Fox News has the power to get through to Trump's addle-brained supporters.

After all, it was Fox that helped addle their brains in the first place.

Some very powerful (wealthy) people in America have been working for a long time to starve the beast of government, which they see as unfairly exploiting them to finance accomplishing the will of the people...therefore, the people must be defeated.

Americans have been losing the battle between democracy and oligarchic capitalism for half a century, one tiny defeat at a time. It adds up like compound interest, and that's how we got to the difference in outcome we see today between America and more democratic societies like Canada. Or a hundred others--America's standing as a democracy has plummeted as its GINI inequality index has risen. It's a causal thing.

eh yeah he's on to something. Liked his description of trickle-down economics as magical thinking. eh yeah!
