I used Gillette twin blade disposables for decades. I cursed them whenever I let my beard grow a few days because they clogged horribly.
Costco quit selling them and started carrying the three blade version. They never clog and they aren’t much more expensive. Kicked myself for a while.

They just don’t get used because I have never been able to maintain an edge on them.
So I often use a Feather Artist Club instead – semi-kamisori style.

I even had the leather strop to properly sharpen it.

But I never mastered its use, I just cut my face all to ribbons. I finally settled on the Bic disposable. Not too kewl, but safer and cheaper.

You guys, shaving is the spawn of the debbil! Coupla years back I got hair clippers, the consumer kind with plastic training-wheel guards that set the depth of the cut. Once a week or so I snap on 1/16″, run it over my face to produce a fashionable stubble, and when it starts to look like a beard, I repeat the process. Little muss and fuss, and no dried-out skin from that damned shaving cream. Always hated the stuff, the way my face felt like it was cracking after it dried.

When I got the clippers, I also cut off my long hair and ponytail down to 1/8″. Bad timing, shortly after that the “fascie” haircut became all the rage among the Nazi set, so I let it grow out to a bland 1/2″, in hopes that decent people will stop spitting on me.
