That mentality will only see it as further evidence of an unholy alliance of the Press, Trotskyite Liberals and Establishment Republicans. It will confirm there is a conspiracy of traitors out to take over THEIR country and turn it over to foreigners and communists. They have God and the Founding Fathers on their side, after all, so everyone else must be traitors. They also have guns on their side, too. Guns and money. And the support of great national fortunes and great numbers of petty bourgeoise at the local level. We must never forget that. The Moore supporters, both in Alabama and elsewhere in the nation, will not be discouraged by this loss, They will only be inspired to regroup. Any potential defeat, repudiation or removal of Trump will be seen in the same way, as evidence of an evil conspiracy against them. And even the most egregious outrages and crimes from their own side will be seen as necessary tactics in the patriotic, godly fight against traitors. You know the mind-set: "You can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs." It justifies anything if the cause is righteous. Willkommen in Weimar Amerika.
