When Republicans nominated Donald Trump for President it was the equivalent of the Rolling Stones’ hiring the Hell’s Angels to provide security at the Altamonte rock festival.
It was immediately obvious to everyone concerned that that was a terrible mistake. As for the Trump nomination, his supporters are still trying to make excuses, covering for him, and looking the other way.
