You always hear about Waco and Ruby Ridge, but we all seem to have forgotten about Philly. Of course, it was all right in that case. They were black extremists.

And those redneck pigfuckers are overgrazing it for their personal profit, not ours. Do you really think those welfare cowboys are going to spend a penny of their money to properly manage and maintain the range and water resources they are consuming? That's my pasture and water they are using. Our wildlife and ground cover they're trampling. If they want to buy the land and use it as they see fit, fine. There are legal ways to do that; they can change the law through the ballot box and then BUY the land. But if they want to lease the land from the government at bargain rates then they should pay rent, like all the other ranchers out west do.

They took over a Federal facility and brought in their thugs to drive everyone off. Why? So they could run their cattle on it for free. These people want something for nothing, and they're trying to cloak it in all this pious constitutional free enterprise second amendment bullshit. But no, the only "overreach" I see here is some crooked businessman trying to use a community resource for his personal gain, which if you look closely, is the entire Conservative/Republican/Fascist program reduced to its bare essentials. Money for nothing and chicks for free.

This hasn't got anything to do with whether or not I oppose "citizens taking up arms". The Bundy's used those militia punks just like the Nazis used the Freikorps, to intimidate the cops, bust up unions, punish their enemies and get their way. Look it up. That's what this thread is about, not gun rights.

The Russians are using their fake news operation to foment civil strife in the US, perhaps even start a race war, by playing to right wing Minuteman fantasies. A heavily armed population isn't going to fight for freedom or defend itself from foreign military forces. Its going to go into the street and settle old, and imaginary, scores.

My initial post only mentioned Bundy once, and only obliquely. But you built your entire rebuttal around him and his trailer trash peckerhead militia. If you're going to try and change the subject, Rob, you're going to have to learn to be more subtle than that.

As far as the Bundy's are concerned, I would have called in an airstrike. That entire gang of tattooed inbred albino banjo pluckers isn't worth the life of even one jack-booted BLM trooper.

During the first encounter it was the BLM who brought snipers. The second time around the ranchers came prepared. Just recently a judge declared a mistrial in the case:

Earlier 4 were acquitted:

6 were acquitted in the Oregon standoff:

I can understand why you oppose citizens taking up arms, but for the life of me I don't understand how you can approve of the blatant government overreach in this case? Is it part of the social contract somewhere?
