Someday its going to be worth a fortune!

They rushed that little piece of kitsch into production in a hurry, and now that the Singapore Summit has been canceled, you know they won't be making any more of them. It was commissioned by the White House and is being sold at the White House Gift Shop, no doubt to celebrate the Trumpster's diplomatic coup. I suppose it was going to be matched with a replica of his Nobel Prize and sold as a set to collectors.

They haven't thought it through yet, but far from being a trophy, its going to wind up as a token of trashola. No doubt, they will be trying to buy them all back before too many go into circulation. Get 'em while they're on sale because I'll bet collectors will be driving the price up, up, up!

Now don't get me wrong, I actually supported Trump's unconventional attempt to bring Kim to the bargaining table, and I don't blame him for it having unraveled. The North Koreans are always pulling fast ones like this, but it was still worth taking the risk for the sake of peace. But trying to cash in on it with a propaganda commemorative medal is truly unforgivable. The man has no class whatsoever.

And now it will commemorate the whole sad affair--forever. Its going to be turning up in artsy-fartsy museums, posh Sotheby auctions and in the 22nd century equivalent of Antiques Road Show as a reminder of the Tacky Trump Era. One day they'll be as valuable as "I Like Ike" buttons.

I just have one question. Does it come with a "Certificate of Authenticity"? You wouldn't want to get stuck with a counterfeit (or worse, a Chinese knock-off), would you?
