I’m watching NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine on NASA tv and am struck by his depth of knowledge of NASA’s history. He may not be an aerospace insider, but he does seem like a well-read space fan. He speaks of NASA and it’s accomplishments with what seems genuine affection and pride.
He says he’s sometimes asked if he’ll be the administrator of the “space force,” to which he responds “no, that’s not what NASA does.”
But perhaps most importantly, he said earlier this year about climate change “I don’t deny the consensus, I believe fully in climate change and that we human beings are contributing to it in a major way.”
Thoughts? Is he just “behaving well in public?”
