A thousand years from now, the 20th century will be remembered as the time when we discovered Relativity, the Expanding Universe, Nuclear Fission, the Double Helix, Plate Tectonics, the Big Bang and landed on the moon.  Only a few obscure cultural historians sheltered away in academia will remember any of that other stuff.

But what I&#039;m really afraid of is the 21st century will be remembered as the time we learned about global warming but deliberately chose not to do anything about it because it might be bad for business.</description>
