It doesn't matter what emerges from these investigations, who's guilty or innocent or how much, unless the Congress comes down in a great majority to make it so, Trump isn't going anywhere. If they decide to look the other way, nothing will happen. No Federal Marshals will stroll into the Oval Office and perp-walk him out to a patrol car.

The majority of the electorate really doesn't care what happens, they are bored with this melodrama and as long as the economy looks healthy and we're at peace, there will be no pressure to do anything. The Republicans aren't going to move against him unless they're outnumbered and no longer feel threatened by his base, no matter what he did. He's going to

1) have to be found guilty of something really dramatic,
2) the evidence will have to be undeniable and overwhelming, and
3) the Dems will have gained a majority in the House, and probably the Senate, too.

Unless all three conditions are met, absolutely nothing will happen.
I have a very bad feeling about this. I'm not afraid he will be acquitted of his crimes, I'm scared he will be found guilty and no one will care, and no one will have the power to get rid of him even if he's convicted. As long as the GOP thinks they have a chance to keep their tax cut and their regulatory reforms, its going to take bayonets to get him out.
