The irony is that even if Kavanaugh is totally innocent, and the investigation bears it out, and the GOP releases the information, half the nation will not believe it because of the maneuvers and obstruction so far by the Republicans. Kavanaugh and the Court itself will have lost all legitimacy in the eyes of the American people and history. Ah, but they'll get their tax cut, Obamacare will be trashed, and EPA will be emasculated.
