Act V begins the morning after the mid-term election, when we start to see the results of the various plots and subplots that have so bewildered us during Act IV. This new act is the act of bold moves – and desperate ones. Of carefully crafted stratagems and the thrashings of the cornered. If this was presented in the Globe Theater, this would be an act with a final scene with a stage floor littered with casualties.
