The knuckledraggers simply will not care, because its THEIR guy that's doing it, and he is entitled to bend the rules because he is a big tough guy businessman who don't take no shit from liberals. Anything that pisses off the libs is good, and any attempt to call him on it is just the Liberal Media and the Deep State who hate America. Trump was surprisingly prescient when he remarked he could kill someone in broad daylight in Times Square and his followers would still support him. We all knew the man was a lawless President when before he was even elected he refused to turn over his tax returns and trotted out that ridiculous hippy doctor to give his medical fitness report. His followers will not demand action (or even express concern) and his party will be too intimidated by them to follow up. Trump has been innoculating the nation slowly to his illegalities by starting with relatively small stuff, but if the current efforts against him do not succeed in dislodging him, it will only be a matter of time before he eventually starts shutting down broadcasters and newspapers, firing political opponents, suing critics, and eventually, arresting his enemies and postponing elections. Again, the issue is not just Trump, as I've said many times before, any nation can get unlucky and wind up with with a tyrant, from either end of the political spectrum. The real crime here is the acceptance, and even the outright collusion (there's that word again) of his followers. And by followers I don't just mean the ignorant misled masses of Limbaugh Land and Coulter Country, but the business community, Party hacks and Conservative ideologues who have sold their souls to this grotesque buffoon and his toxic philosophy. We have a fighting chance now in the New Year with a Democratic House, but there are no guarantees. He still has the Courts and the Senate, and Talk Radio.
