When Trump repeatedly claimed that he had no business with Russians, he was knowingly lying- he was working on a deal with the Russians worth hundreds of millions- In fact, according to his ‘lawyer’ Giuliani (the Trump lawyer not currently facing jail time) The deal was in the works right up to the election.

Trump’s old lawyer- Cohen lied to congress about this- a crime.

Now, I doubt even Trump supporters really believe Cohen committed perjury on a whim- of COURSE Trump directed him to lie- the only question is if there is hard proof. The Buzzfeed article claimed there was, and despite the vague cautionary comment from Mueller, they stand by their claim…
