I&#039;m not sure that I disagree with Trump&#039;s motives or even his tactics at dealing with Chinese duplicity and greed, but I&#039;m convinced his own financial backers and allies will always prefer to defend their own interests over those of their country.  And it is &lt;em&gt;their&lt;/em&gt; interests, not the nation&#039;s, that really matter here.
