		<description>...no one will ever trust any video or audio evidence again.  I suppose its not any different than the olden days, when writing was very rare, a black art practiced by only a few highly skilled technicians (scribes), anything in a book was accepted as truth.  Much later, especially after the invention of movable type and the printing press and the widespread literacy of the population, nobody believed anything any more simply because it was written down.

When it gets to the point where audiovisual fakes can no longer be distinguished from the real thing, even by the most qualified techs, then what will come to be accepted as photographic or recorded &quot;evidence&quot;?
