There is nothing fundamentally wrong with being gay, or to oppose homosexuality for sincere religious or moral reasons, but to employ this sort of cynical hypocrisy to divide and inflame the nation by the deliberate exploitation of bigotry and hate is what seems to characterize the modern Conservative movement.

I can’t stress this more. The Right isn’t about hate or religion, nationalism or morality, misogyny or anything else. Its about targeting and aggravating everything hateful and obscene and divisive in the society to push their economic agenda.

Follow the money and everything else makes sense.
