The average Sea Ice Extent for June 2019 was the second lowest for any June since satellite records began in 1979. Only June 2016 was lower. About 40 years ago, there was an average of 12.5 million square km of sea ice floating in the Arctic basin in June. This June, that has dropped to 10.5 million km^2. This is a loss of 2 million km^2 in 40 years, or about 50000 km^2/yr, or a total loss to the June SIE of roughly 20%.

There has been a loss in the SIE for any month you wish to examine, although the effect is more extreme in the high summer. In September, the ice loss is over 40%.

If there are any denialists still out there, what else do we need to show you? Is your hatred of Liberal politicians and philosophy so poisonous that you refuse to acknowledge the obvious? Or do you just not care what happens as long as your taxes are kept low.

If I were you I'd hurry up and spend my 30 pieces of silver now. They won't be worth much to your children by the time they inherit.
