Its in his nature, and who knows? Maybe he actually believes his own poison. You can say the same for the little cadre of bullies and fascists that swarm in his orbit, echoing his every outrage. They're just too mean and stupid to know any better. But the Republican Party is the real villain here. Except for a handful of good men who called him out early and then quit their party because they realized their leader was a grotesque buffoon and their fellow Republicans would not back them, the GOP has proven itself to be a spineless gang of pathetic opportunists, cynics, hypocrites and cowards. They have made excuses for Trump, covered for him, and either participated in his thuggery or looked the other way and said nothing. And when they finally found him intolerable, they didn't even have the decency or loyalty to their own principles to tell the Trumpanzees off in public before scurrying off in disgrace.
