Just like the NAZIs, terrified of the inferior Jews, homosexuals and Gypsies who oppressed them so. Godwin's Law notwithstanding, I hate to bring up the NAZIs again, but the parallels and analogues just keep on jumping up and slapping us in the face, don't they? It can't just be the ideology that is so reminiscent, it must have something to do with the psychology of those attracted to it. They're not really afraid of all the inferior races and creeds they see as constantly victimizing them; they're just working themselves up to justify the brutality and violence they see as inevitable, necessary and desirable. And they always seem to forget, they're the ones with all the guns--and the barely-under-control fascination with them and unholy compulsion to use them.
