They've been killing innocents for decades. Besides, if we've killed "a thousand Taliban troops" in the last few days is it any wonder they are busy killing some of ours? I don't doubt we've killed a thousand, but I really doubt that they are all "Taliban troops". But why didn't his advisers just come together and convince enough people in his cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment? This move was akin to Roosevelt inviting Hitler and Tojo to a peace conference on December 7, 1942. Sooner or later Trump's going to do something really stupid and no well-meaning or heroic staffer is going to be able to intervene and stop him. Why are the people around him who are working so hard to protect the country from his stupidity so cowardly that they can do nothing to put a stop to it once and for all?
