Let me add a few of my own:

Biden - I like him and his ideas, plus his instincts for moderation and center-leftism and respect his past service, but I think he's just too old. The man is past his prime, and he's starting to show it. Three years ago he had my vote, but not a year from now.

Sanders - We need a little proudly-left-of-centerism in American politics, his politics are probably closer to mine than any of the other candidates; but Bernie is just too old. Unlike Biden, he's still sharp and crisp, but how will he be five years from now? Sorry Bernie, but you just missed your time, and your cardiac episode (remarkable recovery notwithstanding) didn't help.

Harris - I just don't like her. I can't say exactly why, and I certainly have no hard evidence, but she strikes me as being an unprincipled opportunist. I've learned to trust my instincts. After all, I've been trained by the master of unprincipled opportunism, Donald J Trump.

Booker/Castro - Your Basic Brown Candidates. I have nothing against these guys, and they might be all right, but I see nothing in them to make them stand out either. There's no there, there.

Klobuchar - A nice lady, but she simply doesn't get to me. I may be wrong, but she strikes me as a Jimmy Carter type--a decent person, but just not up to the job.

All the rest -- I have trouble remembering their names and faces.

So who do I favor, for now?

Buttigieg - Inexperienced, unknown, but intelligent. He is well educated, and articulate, (qualities I respect and Conservatives distrust) and he is tested for, guaranteed and certified free of bone spurs. Every time I've heard him talk he has made sense to me. I like the guy, on a personal level. Besides, he is gay, which is guaranteed to piss off the wingnuts, Tbaggers, Deplorables and fundowackos. I, personally, do not believe it is necessary to build bridges with that crowd. We need to burn them. Let them have Texas.

Warren- After Bernie, the person closest to my own politics. She also is my age, but looks and acts in a much more vigorous and committed fashion--she is physically up to the job. She also has experience in both legislative and bureaucratic Washington, she is an expert at regulating business villains (what we need most right now), which is, after all, the primary purpose of government. She has my vote, for the time being.
