The longest time I spent not keeping an eye on the Zone was the week after surgery. I'm always lurking, and feeling a bit guilty that I don't participate more.

After I got out of the hospital, people advised me to avoid politics because it's so stressful. Bad timing: Impeachment was just starting to get real, and it's been exhilarating, to tell you the truth. The orange piece of shit and his trash followers are finally on the run, and it's a beautiful sight.

I know fear when I see it, and those 30 Republican assholes gave the game away when they stormed the SCIF. They know the end is nigh.

the Republicans would be accusing them of deliberately dribbling out the information in small doses in order to discredit the President. They would argue that all the information would have to be collected and then released at once so the public could make up its mind when the full case was assembled and presented.

No matter what the Democrats did, the GOP would find a way to be critical of the way the hearings were conducted. But you will notice that they have given up trying to defend the President for what he allegedly did or didn't do, and whether it was appropriate or not. Instead they are attacking the investigative process itself, not the nature or existence of the facts, or the veracity of the witnesses.

Its all lawyer and marketing bullshit.

They actually took cellphones into the SCIF...

If anyone else intentionally did that I am fairly certain their Security Clearances would be in jeopardy...

These days, I feel myself seeking it out more and more. And thanks for your presence and participation. I take it this indicates your health continues to improve.

Funny thing, too: While Trump, in his profound ignorance, talks about "impeaching" House members for having the temerity to exercise oversight, each chamber in Congress does have the right to expel members for serious misbehavior (or "misdemeanour" in the archaic English of the 18th century).

I'd say that violating Federal law while invading the sanctity of a SCIF most definitely is an expellable misdemeanour.

Take heart, though: Nothing says desperation like reverting to brown shirt type. They're on the run.
