That's the way these people think, its not an aberration, or a one-off, or an outlier, its the way these people think, and if they believe they can get away with it, that's how they will act. They voted for Trump, they voted for Wallace, they lynched black folks, they bombed synagogues and abortion clinics, and they burned witches in New England. Their Puritan historical roots go back to the Reformation and the persecution and religious wars of the 17th century. They are not products of the Enlightenment, they are refugees from it. These people didn't come to the Colonies seeking religious freedom, they came here to establish a religious dictatorship.
