"Ad Astra" December 19, 2019 2:10 pm hank

In spite of an astral cast (Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Liv Tyler nd Donald Sutherland) and some pretty decent special effects, this space opera about a Right Stuff, Steely Dan, strong silent type, super stoic astronaut with daddy issues is a waste of talent, time and money.

Save yours.

The plot is impenetrable, the science is mediocre, the psychology pop and the acting just a bit melodramatic. And Brad Pitt is Brad Pitt. Well, the wife likes him.
