Hospitals and clinics are already taking the finished masks in large quantities... I have the materials to make a couple hundred, but turning out that many in a reasonable amount of time requires that i get the print speed up considerably... so i will keep tweaking the settings as i print each batch to push the speed higher. Except, to wear a mask, now I shave close in a circle around my mouth. Looks like a goatee with ridiculous mutton-chop sideburns. Needs must... All my numbers at my last physical were good, so none of the high risk factors as far as I know. The past couple of years every time I got a haircut and had to face my accelerating male pattern baldness I would tell my wife 'NEXT time I am just shaving my head...' never had the balls to do it since if it looked awful I would have to display it at work until it grew back- I figured this was the ideal opportunity to finally do it. I shaved it and I think I will keep it that way- I am not too displeased with how it looks. To get an idea of how I look with a shaved head, picture Bruce Willis in "Die Hard".... Now picture an entirely different bald middle aged man with a beard, and you have some idea. To see projections for your state and how the projected beds needed compare to those available see the link I posted above. California seems to be in great shape- Maryland... not so much.
